Kačerov metro station becomes a space for reflection thanks to our artistic intervention in collaboration with Nina Sibinská (who is also the author of the graphic design of our interactive card game A co teď?). The installation deliberately aims to slow down the everyday chaos. Instead of looking down at the ground or trapped in the glare of screens, it offers passengers a moment of detachment from their daily duties and awareness of their own emotions.
It is the moment when the world of the metro ceases to be a cold transit and becomes a place where it is possible to find a connection – with oneself and with others. Every question and every answer leaves a trace – a tiny imprint of humanity that can linger long after the passenger is lost in the crowd and the train disappears into the darkness of the tunnel.
This installation was made possible thanks to an open call from the Umění pro město initiative, which is part of the Prague City Hall, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Prague subway.
