Installation: Crossroads
This section connects the history of the place and its architectural significance with a deeper reflection on the past.
Here, you can take a moment to look back and discover the many valuable stories hidden behind the walls of KCP.
The Prague Congress Centre, formerly known as the Palace of Culture, was opened in 1981 as the largest multifunctional building of its kind in then-Czechoslovakia. A unique blend of brutalist architecture and top-level artistic craftsmanship makes KCP an exceptional space to this day. Inside, you’ll find dozens of original artworks, technical innovations, and the atmosphere of the late 1970s and early 1980s. The rest will be revealed in the video tour – join us as we step inside.
