How are you feeling at the moment?
It changes. Sometimes like an ice cube on a beach in Portugal. Sometimes like a shadow next to a traffic light. Sometimes like a fog over the city and sometimes like a strobe light in a subway tunnel. Sometimes like the blackest pink and sometimes like the pinkest black.
Where do you look for inspiration in your life?
In confidence, in enthusiasm, in variety. In people who are not afraid to be themselves.
Is there anything you’re hiding from others?
Everyone hides things, so yes, secrets make people human. What would the world be like if everyone knew everything about everyone?
Who or what does your heart beat for?
For creating, for the pace, for the pressure, for a bit of restlessness, for a bit of tenderness, for the silence, for the route to take, for the personal transformation, for the temperament of life, for the understated transparency, for the infinite desire to live.
What gave you strength when you needed it the most?
I think, for example, these five positives – praise, kisses, support, caresses, provocation – give me strength all the time like nothing else.
What is the most precious thing in your life?
Life itself. Love. And the feeling of RIGHT BEFORE.
Is there anything that bothers you about today’s society?
I’m mostly sad about the lack of empathy in society. I long for more sensitivity, understanding and openness.
Do you consider Prague anonymous?
No, I don’t think so. It’s not. If Prague was anonymous, then things aren’t in the public eye .
What is the importance of art in public space?
We don’t yet realise how essential art in public space is to our perception. It influences us and we may not even notice it. On one hand it is beautiful, on the other hand, it raises a lot of questions that we should resolve not only in ourselves, but also in society as a whole. But the meaning of art is essentially deeper when we move away from the aesthetic or the practical function.
What is your role in the project and what does it entail?
I have been in the project since the creation of the first publication. And I think my mission is to give the project a visual identity of its own. A visual signature. I try to correct the artistic direction and co-create and design installations and projects. The most important thing for me is to participate in the overall being of the project.
