The desire to bring society together and to highlight the fact that in this seemingly estranged world we can be much closer than it may sometimes seem, is one of the fundamental aspects of the whole project. This is the idea behind the creation of our four-part publication which aims to convey some of the collected confessions to others.

The confessions play a crucial role in each volume; several hundreds of them await the reader. With sensitivity, we chose ones that cover all imaginable topics that are more or less topical in today’s society.

In addition, for each individual publication, we partnered up with students of art schools such as AVU, UMPRUM or FAMU. These students are the creators of the illustrations or photographic concepts. The books also include tokens typical for the city, space for creative expression, and contributions from several experts.

Our aim is to go beyond the classical use of paper and push its boundaries further. The reader is presented not only with written forms and visually pleasing designs, but each volume also allows for different levels of perceptual interaction.

All four volumes of this publication were published in ’22, specifically always on equinox and solstice dates. Thus they represent the season in which, as a society, we happen to be in. Our aim is to hold up an imaginary mirror to society; all the content is extremely humane and no matter what kind of opinions people have, there is a big chance that one can find understanding and even room for self-reflection in the confessions of others.
