PRAHO! project has come a long way since its beginning. From the collection of poetry placed (not only) in the public space of the city, to the publication of the four-volume PRAHO! publications, to smaller or larger installations and exhibitions throughout Prague, we have reached a new phase in less than a year and a half of hard work. After months of painstaking negotiations, we managed to establish cooperation with TSK, GHMP, AVU, Prague 8 and Umění pro město, who financially supported our first ever permanent project in Prague, the underpass under the Vychovatelna tram stop.
The main subject of the underpass is climate change and the feelings connected to it.
All of the content of the underpass was created by PRAHO! project and its visual design by AVU student Nina Sibinská. The printing of the text itself was provided by Wall-ink company, that came up with a special form of UV vertical ecological printing on tiles for this unique design. It is such a large area that it became the largest ever implementation of this technology on tiles in the world.
The project was created with the financial support of TSK, GHMP, AVU and Prague 8. The design will remain in the underpass indefinitely.
