Klára
Content dramaturg
I hope to never stop learning. I’m always writing something, but I can’t stop writing about death. I think the world’s biggest problem is that people can’t talk to one another. Once in a while I have to sleep under a starry sky, or run through the (Irish) hills to remind myself of who I truly am.

How are you feeling at the moment?
Confused, I don’t know what I’m able to handle. But after a long time I am sure of one thing – that it is always worth searching for yourself even in moments you forget.
Where do you look for inspiration in your life?
I’m inspired by anyone who fights for justice; those who aren’t afraid to speak their mind; and my grandpa T.
Is there anything you’re hiding from others?
Yes, there is. Sometimes health, sometimes sorrows. I try not to, at least not from myself.
Who or what does your heart beat for?
For all those who love and live like they’re gonna die tomorrow.
What gave you strength when you needed it the most?
The knowledge of what I already overcame. Knowing that this time will be no different.
What is the most precious thing in your life?
Meaningfulness, virtue and freedom.
Is there anything that bothers you about today’s society?
The fact that we consume information in such large quantities as if it’s second nature. That we compare ourselves so much – and it’s easy to lose humanness in all of that.
Do you consider Prague anonymous?
Enough, yes, but not too much. When I find a new place, a new circle of people, it’s easy to feel like I’m in a new world for a second, until I realise that I’m actually not.
What do you think is the importance of art in public space?
To pause.
What is your function in the project and what does it entail?
I joined right after it was created, it was shortly after a breakup, I stumbled upon this beauty and knew I wanted to be a part of something like this. It helped me then and it still does today.
My work consists ofI sorting out the confessions, whether for larger installations or just smaller collections. I also prepare and do many interviews, communicate with the public, and do most of the translating.
Best beer | At Bar/ák or my loved Petrohradská kolektiv. |
Favourite venue | Bistro Eva in Vršovice (for hash browns for 20 CZK and prices like in villages). |
Secret spot | This hidden dog meadow in Strašnice, where I ungratefully go only when I’m not feeling well. |
Favourite theatre | Vinohrady theatre almost never disappoints me and Jatka78 also has a beautiful programme. |
Favourite greenery | Every possible green cemetery in Prague. Especially the one in Šárka – where the sun shines golder than anywhere else. |
