I agree with the statement that we think too much and live too little. I believe that every heartbreak is an opportunity for new beginnings and that crying for no reason is the most genuine kind. I think how one smells, can reveal so much. I’m sure this world seems a lot worse than it really is. That’s one of the reasons I started this project in the fall of ’21.

How are you feeling at the moment?
Hopeful. I’ve had the hardest – though in some ways the most beautiful – period of my life. But gradually I’m finding more and more reasons to smile again. Everything’s going to be all right.
Where do you look for inspiration in your life?
In the most ordinary moments – in the stains from spilled wine, in the wrinkles of people sitting across from me on the tram, in snippets of conversations that don’t belong to me, or maybe in ideas that will forever remain only in my head. I think the greatest beauty is found in the smallest details.
Is there anything you’re hiding from others?
That I don’t remember my first kiss and that I’ll never forget my last. And that I’m convinced that the people who are the hardest to love need it the most.
Who or what does your heart beat for?
For courage and justice. For following your emotions completely, regardless of the consequences. For the taste of piña coladas, for the smell of clothes drying in the sun, for the laughter of my siblings, and for the tears of happiness on my face. For people who probably have no idea about it.
What gave you strength when you needed it the most?
Nature, prayer, music and the people around me. I’ll keep the order to myself.
What is the most precious thing in your life?
Circumstances that remind me of being alive. That I’m still here and that I have full control over what my life looks like “now” and what it will look like “then”.
Is there anything that bothers you about today’s society?
The disrespect, the inability to leave your comfort zone for a better tomorrow, or the emotional numbness of many young people. But at the same time, I’ve never believed in this society as much as I do now.
Do you consider Prague anonymous?
No, for a few years now, and I find it charming.
What does Prague look like through your eyes?
Like a woman of many faces and emotions. My favourite is the one that is awash in cold beer, countless cultural options and endless opportunities to meet people. The one where every summer evening seems endless and memories of past and future loves lurk around every corner.
What is your role in the project and what does it entail?
I founded the project less than two years ago and have been running it ever since. But I look at the whole operation very horizontally and try to give maximum space to each of us to grow together. And especially personally.

Favourite venue | There are endless of them. For example Kolektor, Luft, Acid, Mlýnská or Míšenská. |
Secret spot | This one is located in Žofín and requires a double break-in. It’s my Prague’s smultronställe. |
Favourite cinema | Definitely Světozor, but all art cinemas, especially the ones from AeroFilms, are lovely! |
